Beanie Baby: A Year Over Year Over Year Over Year Review
Ok, I need to find a new title for this segment! Year Over Year X3? I am open to suggestions!
This is my all time favorite photo shoot for Lillie. She is, was, and will always be our little Beanie Baby. (BeanIE because it rhymes with Lillie Rosalie, naturally!)
I imagine I will eventually have to find a bigger tub, but for now it remains the same tub as the original, only the bigger she gets the fewer beans we have to use to fill it up! She also loves doing this shoot because it means throwing fist fulls of beans in the air and "making it rain." She actually asked me when we could do the "bean bath" several times since we have pictures in her bathroom from the 1st 2 years. I doubt she will be quite so enthusiastic as a teenager donning a bathing suit and scrunching into a tiny little tub! Don't think I won't bribe her with a car! ;)
From the moment we found out we were pregnant and had our first sonogram my sister has been calling the baby "The Bean." It started out as a reference to her size in the womb, but once we met her we decided she is most definately a bean. The nickname has manifested in many forms, including her daddy's favorite "Miss Bean." She is referred to as "Lillie Bean," "Beanie Baby," "Bean Bean," and MY favorite "The Queen Bean." After her bath she is a "Clean Bean" and when she wears certain outfits she is a "Green Bean." The possibilities are endless!
